European Commission proposes ban on flavored heated tobacco products

The European Commission is proposing to ban the sale of flavored heated tobacco products in the European Union, according to a statement.

And the agency “Bloomberg” quoted the statement as saying that the latest reports showed an increase in sales of heated tobacco products by 10% in more than five member countries.

The proposal will be subject to a period of scrutiny by the European Council and the European Parliament, and will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
