  Since the night of June 25, heavy rainfall has affected the Sichuan Basin from west to east to Jianghan, Jianghuai, Huanghuai, Northeast and other places, showing a southwest-northeast heavy rain belt, with a cumulative rainfall of 50-150 mm, including central and southern Shandong and Sichuan. The cumulative rainfall in Chengdu and Luzhou, Jiangjin and Wushan in Chongqing, Zhoukou and Shangqiu in Henan, Hefei and Lu'an in Anhui, and Dandong in Liaoning was 180-250 mm. Jining, Zaozhuang, Tai'an, Rizhao, Weifang, Qingdao and Huanggang in Hubei, etc. Local 280 ~ 391 mm.

In addition, the cumulative rainfall in northeastern Qinghai, central and southern Gansu and other places was 25-50 mm, and the local area in Linxia and Longnan in Gansu was 55-91 mm.

This heavy rainfall process has affected 14 provinces (cities and districts) including Sichuan, Chongqing, Shaanxi, Hubei, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanxi, Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin, and Inner Mongolia.   Since June, moderate or above meteorological drought has occurred in many places in the north, especially the high temperature weather since the 15th, and the meteorological drought in the dry area has developed rapidly.

This heavy rainfall process has significantly alleviated the meteorological drought in Shaanxi, Henan, Shandong, Hubei and other places, increased the soil moisture of the farmland in the summer planting area, and is conducive to the emergence of summer planting crops and the growth of seedlings.

But at the same time, affected by heavy rainfall, some areas of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Jilin, Inner Mongolia and other provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) experienced disasters such as rainstorms, floods, urban and rural waterlogging and other disasters.   According to the Central Meteorological Observatory, it is expected that there will be light to moderate rain, local heavy rain, and local strong convective weather in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Liaoning and other places today and tomorrow.

It is expected that in the next 10 days, there will be rainy weather in North China, Huanghuai, Northeast China, Jianghuai, Southwest China and Hunan. Among them, the cumulative rainfall in parts of South China, southeastern Jiangnan and southern Yunnan will be 120 to 150 mm, and the local area will exceed 250 mm.

The accumulated rainfall in North China, Northeast China, South China and Yunnan was significantly higher than the same period of the normal year, while the rainfall in most other areas was lower than the same period of the normal year.

  In addition, with the northward lifting of the subtropical high in the western Pacific, the typhoons in the northwestern Pacific and the South China Sea will become more active.

At present, tropical disturbances are developing in the east-central waters of the South China Sea. It is likely to develop into the No. 3 typhoon this year around the 30th. It will land on the coast from western Guangdong to eastern Hainan Island on July 2-3, and bring typhoon to southern my country. Come for more windy weather.
