Before 6:30 pm on the 28th, the fire department was notified that a man had drowned in the Kinugawa River that flows through Chikusei City.
According to police, a 19-year-old Vietnamese technical intern trainee man from Chikusei City went missing while swimming in the river with his five friends from around 6 pm.
The width of the river near the site is 20 to 30 meters, and the depth is about 4 to 5 meters.
Police and fire departments searched for the man's whereabouts as if he had been drowned, but he could not find it on the 28th and decided to search on the 29th.
