In this commune of Seine-et-Marne, canteen prices will explode

The prices of the canteen and the leisure center of Saint-Germain-sur-Morin (Seine-et-Marne) must increase by 190% on September 1st.

As

The mayor of the commune, Gérard Gourovitch, proposed to reintroduce price bands and to reinstate the decreasing price from the second child.

But he will not go back on this increase.

The canteen and the leisure centers cost him almost a million euros and the parents only pay 400,000.

With operating costs soaring, the municipality regretted that it had no other choice.
