The sub-prefect takes the lead and wants to avoid the scuffles of last year between young people and the police who took place in La Baule.

At the end of last week, the sub-prefect of Saint-Nazaire Michel Bergue issued an order prohibiting "gatherings, possession and transport of alcoholic beverages on Tuesday July 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day".

The decree, also taken for the evening of last Saturday, concerns the municipalities of Pornichet, La Baule, Le Pouliguen and the embankment of the roundabout of Europe in Pornichet to the etier du Pouliguen.
