Interview 2017 Kase.O: "Rap is better now than it was 20 years ago"
Zaragoza rapper
Javier Ibarra
, better known as
Kase.O
, announced this Monday on his Twitter account that he will take a break from live concerts "when this tour ends."
He says he will retire from the stage in March for "an indefinite period of time. I need him."
However, he recognizes the importance of the public: "Although the energy you give me is super nice, I feel great
physical, mental and spiritual exhaustion
."
Kase.O ends his message with "a huge hug and thanks to all of you who have already brought your love and enjoyed this tour with us. Peace" and "for now let's enjoy the dates that remain until March".
The tour with his
Jazz Magnetism
project has an expiration date and when it ends in March 2023, although a last leg of the tour has yet to be announced, which will be in
America
, he will rest and tackle his new project.
The musician, who will perform on September 3 at the
Vive Latino Festival
, to be held in Zaragoza, has performances planned in
Vitoria and Pontevedra
, among other venues, and has recently performed in Compostela at Monte do Gozo.
Sources from his environment, who quote
El Periódico de Aragón
, point out that the announcement does not mean a definitive withdrawal.
They assure that "right now that is not being considered in any way", although they do not know how long the break will last, but
"it will be long, that is why it has been announced, it will be for quite some time"
.
For now, the last concerts scheduled for the end of the tour are those in Barcelona and Madrid on November 12 and 18, respectively.
From his
management
office they have explained, after the announcement on the rapper's social networks, that these will be his last appointments in Spain.
However, a last American section is planned that will last until March 2023 and that will experience the last 'shows' before Kase gets off the stage.
