China News Service, Suzhou, June 27 (Reporter Zhong Sheng) The Suzhou Taihu National Tourism and Resort Zone Bureau of the Suzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a police report. On the evening of the 26th, a traffic accident occurred outside the tunnel at the entrance of the Yuyang Mountain Scenic Area on the Taihu Lake Road in the resort. Seven people have been injured to varying degrees, none of which are life-threatening.
The driver of the accident, Xia Moumou, has been controlled, and after preliminary testing, drunk driving and drug driving have been ruled out.
At about 22:00 on the 26th, the resort bureau received an alarm saying that a traffic accident occurred outside the tunnel at the entrance of the Yuyang Mountain Scenic Area on the Taihu Lake Road in the resort, and someone was hit and injured.
After investigation, Xia Moumou (male, 21 years old, from Henan) lost control while driving a Lu F27**T black car passing the entrance of the Yuyang Mountain Scenic Spot on Huan Taihu Road in the resort area and crashed into a roadside barbecue stall, causing many injuries.
Seven people were injured in the accident to varying degrees, and all of them have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
After preliminary testing, Xia Moumou was ruled out for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Cause of the accident is under further investigation.
