[Commentary] In the 25 years since Hong Kong returned to the motherland, more and more Hong Kong actors have come to the mainland to develop. There are also young people who came to the mainland to receive performance education when they were students. The "post-90s" boy Hong Junjia is one of them.

[Commentary] Hong Junjia was born in Hong Kong. His parents are from Fujian and have strong local feelings, which gave Hong Junjia a lot of memories of the mainland in his childhood.

Because every New Year's Day, my parents take me back to my hometown in Fujian and my hometown in Quanzhou to celebrate the New Year, and the impression of the mainland of our motherland should be very kind.

And another interesting point is that my father is a very traditional Hokkien. When he was in Hong Kong, I was not allowed to speak Cantonese at home, so I could only speak Hokkien at home, because he said that you go to school and you Friends and classmates, you naturally learned Cantonese, right?

But at home, you are not allowed to speak a word of Cantonese, or you will be spanked.

[Explanation] Twenty-five years ago, the young Hong Junjia "had no concept" about the return of Hong Kong, but seeing the pride expressed by his elders, he also felt that "returning" made him feel at ease.

On the day of the handover, all our compatriots in Hong Kong gathered in front of the TV to watch, I remember jumping on the sofa, and my parents' house was covered with national flags.

Then at 0:00, the British flag came down on time. When the regional flags of our China and Hong Kong were raised, the national anthem was played. First of all, I remember telling my dad that I can sing this song. ) I didn't know she was the national anthem, but I knew I could sing it because my dad taught me since I was a kid, I could listen.

[Explanation] In 2011, Hong Junjia chose a path that was different from his peers around him - to study at university in Beijing, and he was successfully admitted to the performance department of Beijing Film Academy.

At that time, Zhou Dongyu, Gulinaza and so on were in the same class with him.

Looking back now, he feels that coming to Beijing to study at that time was the best decision he made.

When I went to Beijing, what I saw was a broader future for our young people, especially the literature and art industry, which brought me a very large platform.

Because I think young people's career planning, in addition to your own efforts, the opportunities given by the times, and what kind of platform you are on are very important. Beijing is a platform for movies or art that I have been looking for in my heart. This is what I think my biggest gain and change in Beijing.

[Explanation] In recent years, with the introduction of a series of policies in the mainland to support the development of Hong Kong entertainers going north, the number of film and television dramas co-produced by the mainland and Hong Kong has also gradually increased.

Hong Junjia, who has participated in many plays such as "The World" and "Icebreaker", has begun to enter the audience's field of vision. In his opinion, Hong Kong's film and television industry has accumulated a large number of professional talents, while the mainland has a large market and large investment. Combining the two, The effect of "1+1>2" can be achieved.

In fact, there is no shortage of good actors (in Hong Kong). What we lack is a platform to show ourselves, and the country and such policies are giving us a platform to show ourselves.

Especially in the past few decades, many advanced concepts and technologies, coupled with such a good platform, audience, resources, and funds in the mainland of our country, all combine to form an effect of 1+1>2. We Chinese Hong Kong actors and even Taiwan compatriots, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots, it means that we have a lot more opportunities to work.

[Explanation] Over the past 25 years, Hong Kong has had frequent exchanges with the mainland; now the practice of "one country, two systems" has entered a new stage, and Hong Kong has entered a critical period of governance and prosperity.

Hong Junjia said that he is very fortunate to be born in this era. This is the best opportunity given to Hong Kong youth by the country and the era.

Just like our era, it is of course necessary for young people to make progress, more from the country, and more from the opportunities given by the entire era.

In such a big country, the rivers and mountains are as good as you can go. I feel very good about the process of returning from being a little stranger to each other, to being connected with each other by blood, and finally becoming a family.

I have gained a lot, and I believe many of our young people in Hong Kong have also gained a lot from this era and the past 20 years.
