The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council has clarified various regulations on the use and management of health codes, operational guarantees, and information security, requiring all localities to accurately assign codes to relevant personnel according to different epidemic risk levels, and not to “one size fits all” or “add codes on top of codes”.
It is clearly required to strictly locate the function of health codes, not to expand the scope of application without authorization, and never to allow people to assign health codes to the masses due to factors other than epidemic prevention and control.
