Recently, with the continuous high temperature weather in most parts of my country, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions requires employees to do a good job in preventing heatstroke and cooling down, and minimize the adverse effects of high temperature weather on the health and life safety of employees.

  Recently, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in 2022 for Employees to Prevent Heatstroke and Cool Down", to send cool materials, health examinations, and health training to employees in the logistics, electric power, construction, sanitation and other industries who work in the open air in summer. , and actively carry out activities such as "send cool".

It is necessary to focus on front-line personnel of epidemic prevention such as medical staff and community epidemic prevention volunteers, so as to provide convenience for employees working outdoors in hot weather to escape the heat.

  At the construction site of the resettlement house in Zhangguozhuang, Beijing, the construction department strictly abides by the national regulations on high-temperature work, reasonably adjusts the labor and rest time for high-temperature work in summer, and adjusts the construction time.

  Li Xianglong, Safety Director of Zhangguozhuang Resettlement Housing Project of the Third Company of China Construction Second Bureau: As the temperature rises, our project department has adjusted the work and rest time of the operation team in time, from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in the morning and 3:00 pm in the afternoon Then at 7:00, the high temperature period will be staggered throughout the day.

High temperature weather continues and many labor unions adjust high temperature allowance standards

  In response to high temperature weather, labor unions in many places have also adjusted the high temperature allowance standards according to the specific local conditions.

  According to Article 17 of the Measures for the Administration of Heatstroke Prevention and Cooling Measures revised in 2012, the employer arranges workers to engage in outdoor work in high temperature weather above 35°C and fails to take effective measures to reduce the temperature of the workplace to below 33°C. High temperature allowances should be paid to workers and included in the total wages.

  The specific method of high temperature allowance is generally divided into monthly payment or daily calculation. According to incomplete statistics, this year Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hainan and other places have adjusted the time and standard of high temperature allowance payment according to different local conditions:

  The subsidy for high temperature in Hainan Province is from April 1 to October 31, for up to seven months;

  The high temperature allowance in Shaanxi Province is 25 yuan per person per day;

  The high temperature allowance in Sichuan Province is 10-18 yuan per person per day;

  Anhui Province adjusted the high temperature allowance to 15 yuan per person per day;

  The high temperature allowance in Fujian Province is 12 yuan per person per day in high temperature weather in May, and 260 yuan per month from June to September or 12 yuan per person per day in actual high temperature weather;

  Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Shanghai and other places provide high temperature allowances for workers engaged in outdoor work and high temperature work at a rate of 300 yuan per person per month.

  A relevant person from the All-China Federation of Trade Unions said that employers should do a good job of distributing high temperature allowances in a timely manner, provide workers with necessary heatstroke prevention and cooling facilities, and pay high temperature allowances in full and timely in strict accordance with regulations, which will be included in the total wages.
