Father attacks police with a bulldozer to prevent them from arresting his son

A video clip taken by a surveillance camera installed inside a Vermont police car showed a man trying to prevent police officers from arresting his son, using a bulldozer.

According to the information, the policemen came to the home of the young man, Brandon Thalman, 24, who is accused of assaulting a person, but the policemen did not expect such an attack, as the young man's mother attacked the policemen and then grabbed her son and tried to keep him away from them.

During this altercation, Wayne Tallman, the young man's father, entered the bulldozer which was in the driveway of a house and began swinging its bucket above the soldiers.

"Wayne proceeded to operate an excavator and swung the bucket recklessly near the soldiers in an attempt to prevent them from arresting the suspect," state police said. The three face criminal charges.
