He immediately organized investigators to go to the front line of the border to carry out investigation, but just relying on this clue was like looking for a needle in a haystack, and the investigation for seven consecutive days was fruitless.

In order to lock down the suspect as soon as possible, Yang Xiang led the team to investigate and track them during the day and analyze and judge at night.

After another two days, a tractor pulling more than 10 tons of cement entered Yang Xiang's sight.

After cross-examination, the driver's evasive eyes aroused his alertness, but when Yang Xiang removed all the cement from the car for inspection, no drugs were found.

He walked around the tractor two more times, locking his eyes on the fuel tank.

He slapped the fuel tank, which made an abnormal noise.

In the end, 11.74 kilograms of heroin were seized on the spot in the disassembled fuel tank, and 2 suspects were arrested.

"I have a special mission that is not dangerous, don't come and visit me"

In the anti-drug battlefield, where there is no gunpowder smoke, the police have to worry about their relatives being intimidated and threatened by drug dealers while handling cases, and they are under double pressure that is different from ordinary people physically and mentally.

In an arrest operation, Yang Xiang led the investigators to arrest a criminal suspect in a hotel, and seized 6 kilograms of drug opium on the spot.

On the way to escort the suspect back to the unit, overseas drug dealers actually sent a number of "horses" to follow.

After the group arrived at the gate of Yang Xiang's unit, they quickly fled after verbally threatening Yang Xiang.

In the next week, the cunning drug dealer used a makeshift mobile phone to call Yang Xiang several times, threatening the lives of him and his family.

In the face of the threat, after thinking twice, he called his wife and lied that he had a "non-dangerous special mission" to complete, and asked his wife and young daughter not to visit him for half a year.

"I'm worried about Yang Xiang, but I know he has a mission, and I don't want to distract him because of us. As a police wife, all I have to do is support him with all my heart," said Yang Xiang's wife.

Yang Xiang, who made the drug dealers terrified, was full of guilt when he mentioned his family.

"It was my wife who helped me prop up the rear of the house. The one thing I want to do most after finishing a case is to cook a meal for my wife and daughter and accompany them."

'The drug hunt is more dramatic than a movie'

In recent years, film and television dramas about drug control have frequently appeared on the screen.

"What is shown in the movie is only part of the anti-drug work. In reality, we have to face ever-changing emergencies." Yang Xiang said.

"It was stormy and the temperature plummeted that night, but if we backed off, it would give criminals an opportunity to exploit." Yang Xiang recalled the scene when he participated in the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Bureau's public anti-drug competition.

At about 3 o'clock that day, Yang Xiang found two suspicious figures walking towards the duty point in the distance.

He immediately informed the team of the situation and judgment, and led the team to approach the figure quietly.

When the distance was gradually getting closer, two suspicious figures suddenly fled into the cornfield by the roadside. Yang Xiang quickly organized the police to hunt them down. Because it was dark and the sky was still raining heavily, the full pursuit was still unsuccessful.

"We are chasing very fast. If they carry contraband, it is difficult to escape. In order to escape, they are likely to discard the contraband on the road. Search!" Yang Xiang led the team to continue along the road in the direction of the suspect's escape. conduct a search.

After nearly 3 hours of searching in the rain, Yang Xiang found a black backpack and a green backpack in the ditch by the road.

After inspection, 21 pieces of suspicious drugs were seized from the two backpacks on the spot.

After weighing and identification, a total of 42.27 kilograms of net weight of methamphetamine were seized in this case.

After years of practice, Yang Xiang has gradually developed a hard work of investigation, investigation, and judgment, and has written a summary of experience such as "Guidelines for the Investigation of Drugs in Postal Packages", "Guidelines for the Investigation of Drugs in Vehicles", and "Guidelines for the Investigation of Drugs Contained in Large Cargoes". Drug detection work provides scientific guidance.
