On June 23, Beijing time, the Chinese rocket "veteran" with a "service age" of 30 years, the Long March 2D (referred to as: ChangerDing) carrier rocket set off again.

This is its 60th launch into space and the 424th launch of the entire "family" of the Long March series of launch vehicles.

At 10:22 on the 23rd, the Long March 2D carrier rocket was launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and sent the 02 group satellites of Remote Sensing 35 into the predetermined orbit.

The Changerding carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It was established in 1990 and flew for the first time on August 9, 1992.

It has carried many "Internet celebrity" satellites, such as: dark matter particle detection satellite "Wukong", quantum science experiment satellite "Mozi" and so on.

The "family" of China's Long March series of launch vehicles has grown steadily over the years.

Since the first flight of the Long March-1 carrier rocket on April 24, 1970, after more than half a century, the Long March series of carrier rockets have been completed from scratch, from tandem to bundling, from one arrow and one star to one arrow with multiple stars, and from A series of major leaps from launching satellites to launching spacecraft to lunar probes and Mars probes, especially the core module of China's first space station, the Chang'e-5 lunar probe, the Tianwen-1 Mars probe, the Shenzhou manned spacecraft, Tianzhou cargo spacecraft, Beidou-3 navigation satellite and other "heavy weapons of the country" were sent into space by the Long March series of carrier rockets.
