To date, health authorities have identified 330 confirmed cases of monkey pox, including 227 in Ile-de-France.
Monkeypox, which has so far not led to any deaths, first results in a high fever and quickly evolves into a rash.
The disease, which until then was contained in about ten African countries, usually heals spontaneously after two to three weeks.
