On June 23, at Sanbei Mingzhu Wharf, Tangshan International Tourism Island, Hebei Province, Yang Jianxin, a 53-year-old Chinese sailing explorer, drove the 47-foot catamaran "Tangshan" to challenge Tangshan to the North Pole with a single sail, no docking and no supplies. An "adventure trip" on a round-trip route.

  For the route from Tangshan to the North Pole, which has never been sailed by a single sailor, Yang Jianxin plans to enter the Sea of ​​Japan through the Yellow Sea and Tsushima Strait from the Bohai Sea, enter the North Pacific through the Soya Strait or the Tsugaru Strait, and then enter the Atu Channel. Bering Sea, cross the Bering Strait into the Arctic Ocean, cross the Arctic Circle to the Barrow Sea, return to Tangshan without any rest.

The round-trip is 9,000 nautical miles and takes about 4 months. The whole journey is uninterrupted, without stops, without power, and without supplies.
