[Explanation] Driving a "bed car" full of Kazakh elements on the road of terraced fields in the mountains, recording the beautiful scenery along the way with a camera, and posting it on the network platform.

Recently, a couple known as the "Pomegranate Couple" became popular on online platforms because of their new "nomadic life" all the way from Chongqing to Xinjiang, as well as their love stories from different ethnic backgrounds.

  [Concurrent] Yang Anan

We are a "Ha-Han" couple, I am Han from Chongqing, and my husband is Kazakh from Altay, Xinjiang.

The two of us have been together for 7 years and have been married for 3 years. Our life is called "VanLife" (bed car life). It is a little bit different from the RV life. The bed car life actually originated from Western countries. , and then our life is called "nomadic life" in China.

[Explanation] Halim Selik and Yang Anan, who were once "urban workers", were working as designers and self-media operators respectively before quitting their jobs.

The intensive life of "12 to 12" allows them to accept the confusion and pressure brought by "reinforced concrete" while enjoying the convenience brought by the city.

In fact, my main source of motivation was my wife, because I felt that my wife was very confused at work at the time, and then I felt that I needed to take her out to relax and let her find her own new direction.

If we are now bound by reinforced concrete in this city, including our work, which brings us a lot of trouble, or a lot of uncomfortable situations, I think we might as well just put ourselves down and walk bravely Go out and see the world, get more inspiration and some information about life.

[Explanation] In the year when the two were 30 years old, the "Ha-Han" couple decided to resign as "Nomad" naked.

It was from the end of last year (2021) that we made a major decision in life, bought a second-hand Jinbei car with our own savings, and transformed it into a Kazakh national yurt bed car ready to start us. Travel around China.

  [Concurrent] Halim · Selik

In the past, our Kazakh nomads used to ride horses, then pulled our yurt accessories, nomadic life, and set up camp to build it up, but now we have no horses, no sheep, no cattle, we only have cars, we can only use cars The analogy is that when it walks, it is a horse, and when it stops, it becomes a yurt, and that is the meaning.

[Commentary] On January 17, 2022, after the couple made full preparations, they embarked on a journey of about 6,000 kilometers around Yunnan.

But initially, for the young couple, what should have been a leisurely and relaxing journey was more of a grind.

Because after you came out, your living environment has changed, your living habits have changed, everything has changed, and you don't even know what will happen at the next stop on the road.

In fact, this life is not comfortable.

It can only be to see more and better worlds, open up our worldview, and fill in some of our unaccustomed habits that have changed in our lives from another perspective.

[Explanation] But slowly, the couple also made a lot of unexpected gains on the road.

Not only do I have the courage to face difficulties, I have time to think and study, but also have new "discoveries" of family affection and infinite yearning for a better life in the future.

  [Concurrent] Yang Anan

I think the biggest takeaway for me is something that I didn't expect, that although the physical distance between us and our family has become farther, the distance between our hearts and hearts has become closer.

  [Concurrent] Halim · Selik

In the past, we lacked courage. For example, we enjoyed staying at home. For example, when we were camping in our RV, we would encounter various difficulties. We encountered difficulties on the first day we set out. I felt so annoying, because I like to enjoy myself, and then I felt too annoying and annoying, and I kept encountering all kinds of difficult problems later, and I found that I didn’t have so much to face. The problem is, that fear is gone.

[Explanation] During the journey, Yang Anan also recorded the "nomadic life" of the two and posted them on the online platform.

In their videos, there are couples dancing "black horses" (Kazakh dance) together by the sea, Yang Anan learns her husband's Kazakh language, and Halimu learns his wife's Sichuan-Chongqing dialect.

They are also affectionately called "Pomegranate Couple" by netizens.

Yang Anan hopes to truly "embrace" with the national culture while recording their "nomadic life".

[Live] The couple played and sang "A Pot of Milk Tea".

[Explanation] Now, after a short rest, the "Pomegranate Couple" has embarked on a new journey. They decided to first travel around Xinjiang, then travel all over the country, and even go to the world.
