After the murder of Iman Arsheed, a young man slaughtered himself in the Jordanian capital

No sooner did Jordanians wake up from the shock of the killing of student Iman Arsheed, who was shot dead inside her university campus yesterday, Thursday, when they received a second tragic news represented in the finding of the body of a young man in his thirties who had "slaughtered" himself in one of the areas of the capital, Amman.

The Public Security Directorate said that yesterday, Thursday, the body of a person was found inside his house in the Tabarbour area of ​​Amman, noting that "the body was referred to forensic medicine to determine the cause of death."

The directorate said in a statement, "This afternoon, the body of a person in his thirties was found inside his house in the Tabarbour area. The body was transferred to the forensic medicine department to determine the cause of death."

The "Ruya" news website quoted a medical source as saying that the owner of the corpse had injured himself with 6 multiple cuts, including a cut in the neck (slitting the neck), which led to severe bleeding that caused his death.

For his part, the competent public prosecutor began an investigation into the case to find out the circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the person "harmed himself with a sharp object," according to the directorate.

The discovery of the young man's body coincided with the Public Security announcement that the student, Iman Arsheed, had been shot dead inside her university campus, and the killer had fled.
