With the summer heat rising, how much fluid do you need per day to compensate?

German expert Andreas Matzerakis said that the heat of the weather during the summer causes the body to lose fluids through sweating, which can be countered by drinking enough fluids.

He added that the ideal drinks are mineral water, juices diluted with water and tea, and it is useful to eat vegetables and fruits, which are characterized by their high water content, such as cucumbers and melons.

Matzrakis pointed out that the body also loses salt due to sweating, which leads to a feeling of fatigue, which can be countered by drinking mineral water rich in sodium, as well as meat soup or vegetable soup.

The body should be compensated by drinking fluids at a rate of up to three liters per day.

In general, exposure to sunlight should be avoided as much as possible;

For example, you should exercise outdoors in the early morning or evening, taking into account the protection of the parts exposed to the sun such as the face, arms and feet with a sunscreen with a high SPF protection factor of at least 50.
