Environmental activists from the "Last renovation" movement blocked traffic on avenue Édouard-Vaillant in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) Monday at 8:45 a.m.
According to BFM TV, they wanted to draw the attention of deputies and ask them to commit to passing a law on the overall energy renovation of buildings.
"All French buildings will have to undergo a global energy renovation before 2040," they said on Twitter.
They also want a financing system to be put in place to cover all the work for the most modest households.

A young movement
When the police arrived around 9:15 a.m. to dislodge them, some activists did not hesitate to stick their hands on the asphalt.
But the police still managed to get the group on board and the action ended around 10 a.m.
The “Last renovation” movement was launched last February.
A few days ago, activists had already stuck their hands on the asphalt during an action in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
It is also one of them who tied her neck to the Roland-Garros net on June 3 to warn of climate change.
