A girl's fear of her family being exploited as a victim of a crime (indecent assault) committed against her by a bus driver, from the age of 7 until she reached adulthood, until that driver came back to her life again, pushed her to commit suicide, but her attempt was unsuccessful.

The Public Prosecutor of major criminal offenses in Jordan began investigating the case of the girl, who is now 18 years old. A bus driver who transports male and female students without a license was arrested for 15 days at the Correction and Rehabilitation Center.

The Public Prosecutor charged the 30-year-old driver with a felony of indecent assault, repeated 60 times, subject to renewal.

According to a source close to the investigation, the bus driver (the defendant) started committing his actions against the victim since she was seven years old by kissing her, as he used to take her from home to school by an unlicensed private bus.

The source added that the matter gradually developed with the bus driver and reached the touch, and it continued for a long time until the victim was asked to practice some acts (indecent assault), and the complainant at that time was afraid of her family, she was unable to tell them what happened with her.

The source added that the complaining girl remained silent about being subjected to indecent assault for several years, until her family moved to another area at the time, and the complainant also moved to another school, and after several years she returned to live in the same area that she left (the old residence), and when she learned That the accused bus driver would take her from home to school, she tried to commit suicide, but her attempt was unsuccessful.
