According to the Saitama Prefectural Police Headquarters, after 10 pm on the 21st, at the Internet cafe "Kaisei CLUB Kawagoe Wakitashinmachi Store" in Wakitashinmachi, Kawagoe City, "a female employee came back while going to the private room booth with customers. There was no 110 call from the employee.
The private room booth is used by one man, and so far it is not known if a female employee is injured.
Other guests and employees have already evacuated.
Police are investigating the man as if he were holding the employee hostage.
