The Dubai Science Park, affiliated with TECOM Group, unveiled yesterday the monument to the front-line heroes designed by the "KART" group;

It is a work of art that translates the meanings of pride and gratitude to workers in the fields of medicine, security and public health around the world, in honor of their efforts and sacrifices to care for members of society during the pandemic period.

The innovative multi-dimensional artwork consists of 17 parts and an area of ​​90 square meters, which brings together a police officer, a paramedic, a doctor, a nurse, a volunteer and a cleaner, and was implemented by Dubai Science Park in cooperation with Newberg Pharmaceuticals and Boston Scientific.

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the General Department of Security of Organizations, Facilities and Emergency and Head of the Internal Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Ghaithi, Executive Director of the Dubai Health Care Corporation, Dr. Younis Kazim, and Director General of Dubai Science Park, Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, and a number of officials and representatives For local front-line stakeholders.

Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi said: "The artwork embodies the sacrifices made by the frontline heroes in their efforts to confront the spread of the (Covid-19) virus around the world, and through it we direct the highest meanings of pride and appreciation to our heroes who joined hands and put their lives at risk in order to protect society and ensure its safety, And they contributed to the success of efforts to overcome various challenges.”

He added: “With the directives of the leadership, the concerned authorities in the UAE made great efforts, and proved their flexibility and speed of response when the pandemic began, and this emerged in the advanced levels of preparedness that we were able to reach to protect members of society, and we are proud that Dubai Science Park is an integral part of the ideal model. For crisis management, the companies in our complex have contributed to providing advanced testing and sterilization services, in addition to strengthening vaccination efforts and others.”

For his part, Mustafa Khamash, General Manager and Co-Design Engineer for Kart Group, said: “The memorial is a humanitarian message that bears the most beautiful images of compassion and dedication embodied by the frontline heroes around the world, and it is an initiative that will honor those heroes who left an impressive mark. in human life.”
