Recently, news spread about honoring some artistic personalities in the French Senate. The news was reported by some non-famous media channels, but after a while it was reported by some famous channels, unlike its spread on social media.

My attention was drawn to the merits of winning, and their being awarded the "Most Influential in the Arab World" award, especially since one of them is unknown, and his achievements do not exceed the limits of his Facebook page, which is not free of a large number of spelling errors.

Through a simple search, it became clear that the French Senate had nothing to do with the matter, and that behind the initiative was a woman claiming to be the United Nations ambassador for peace. .

What is important in the matter is that this ambassador claims to be a professor at several universities in Britain, France, Egypt and Morocco, and most importantly, she also claims to have the title of United Nations ambassador from the “Royal Society of the United Nations.” And by research, it was also not proven that there is an official or semi-official body with this name.

This is one example out of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of examples that reflect the amount of superficiality, fraud and deception practiced by some, and many fall into it, whether knowingly or ignorantly.

The problem is that many public figures do not investigate accuracy, and are deceived simply because the person has a picture in which he appears in an international body, or takes a picture of himself next to the European Union flag, or just appears in an interview on television or a newspaper.

I hope we can be more accurate and verify the personalities of the people we are dealing with.

I wish those who work in the media with all its channels to be accurate in everything that is published, and to research carefully before approving everything they receive.

Promoting such absurdity may lead to disturbing the general peace among the public who believe everything, and their only source of information is communication channels. That states and governments are the ones who have honored them, while the whole issue is just "funkush".
