According to the Shanxi Evening News on June 18, on June 17, Nantong, Jiangsu, the Internet revealed that Qidong Sports Baby Center, a student had his hands tied to the door, another student was lying on the bed with his hands tied, and a woman suspected of being a teacher was on the side. Make a video to make fun of it.

The early childhood education center stated under the official video account that it has called the police and is waiting for the public security organs to investigate.

In this regard, the Qidong City Public Security Bureau of Jiangsu Province issued a police report on the same day, saying that the police acted quickly to control the suspects Ni Mouxin, Shen Moudi, and Shen Moulin as soon as possible, and criminally detained them according to law.

Currently, the case is under further investigation.

For all illegal acts that violate the rights and interests of minors, the police will be strict, swift and severe.

What is surprising about this incident is that the teachers and nurses of this nursery institution not only did not realize that this was child abuse, but also laughed and filmed videos, which shows the indifference of the awareness of the rule of law.

In fact, it is not an isolated case where teachers and staff take selfies that violate teachers' morality, discriminate against students, or physically punish or disguised corporal punishment. Taking pleasure in "educating" children in this way is in essence a lack of teacher morality and legal awareness, which requires attention and strengthening of teachers' morality construction and legal education.

The child abuse incident by kindergarten teachers that caused widespread public attention in 2012 was also caused by the teacher involved being "fun for a while". He forcibly grabbed a child in the activity room of the park and lifted it up by both ears, and at the same time asked another female teacher. It was taken with a mobile phone, and then the video was uploaded to the Internet, causing a public uproar for a while.

The occurrence of this case also promoted the revision of the Criminal Law. The Criminal Law Amendment (IX) made amendments to the crime of abuse, extending the subject of the crime of abuse from those with special family relationships to minors, the elderly, and the sick. Sick persons, disabled persons, and other persons with guardianship and nursing duties, clarify that "people with guardianship and nursing duties such as minors, the elderly, sick persons, and disabled persons who abuse the persons under guardianship and care, If the circumstances are serious, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention. Those who commit the acts in the preceding paragraph and at the same time constitute other crimes shall be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions on heavier punishment.”

At the end of last year, a primary school teacher pointed at the students in the classroom and scolded the students in public, "You are so annoying! Look at our recording for yourself, there are all your annoying scenes, go get out, and I will let your mother see your Virtue".

The recorded video was also sent to the parent group, hoping that parents would cooperate in educating their children.

Teachers' language bullying of students was questioned by parents.

After the incident, the teacher involved was dealt with for violating the code of conduct for teachers.

It can be said that the teachers involved did not realize that their actions were wrong, and either thought it was "fun" or thought it was a "good way" to "educate" students to obey the rules.

Otherwise, the video will not be recorded, and the video will be posted on the Internet or in the parent group.

This is where these kinds of incidents are more worrying.

This reflects two problems. First, teachers lack the basic awareness of respecting the dignity of minors and protecting minors' rights. Second, local education departments, schools, and educational institutions have not implemented teacher ethics education and legal education for teaching staff. in place.

For a long time, schools and teachers in our country, as well as some members of the public, have regarded campus bullying and violation of other people's legal rights as "pranks". For example, when other students stood up to answer questions, students took off their stools, causing their classmates to sit down. When he fell and was injured, what was once considered a "prank" was actually suspected of hurting others.

But so far, there are still people who make such short videos and think it is "fun" without realizing its harmfulness.

Perhaps in the eyes of the nurses of the early childhood education institutions, the children are the targets of their "tricks", and they can get attention and traffic by tying them up and making videos, but they have never thought of the harm this will cause to the children's personality, body and mind.

To protect the healthy growth of underage children, we must adhere to the child-centered approach, and put the children's sound personality and physical and mental health first.

As an educator, you must think about how your own behavior will affect your child's growth. Don't take your child as an object of "pleasure", and don't do anything that violates your child's legal rights in the name of "being good for your child."

Our country has drawn a clear red line for the behavior of teachers. Last year, the Ministry of Education also issued the "Regulations on the Protection of Schools for Minors". To implement these regulations, it is necessary to strengthen the education of teaching staff and strengthen the "bottom line awareness".
