The heat wave is moving.
Météo-France lifted its heat wave red vigilance on Sunday morning in the south-west of the country, while 50 departments in the center and north-east were placed on heat wave and/or storm orange vigilance.
Thirty-two departments are also on yellow alert, especially for thunderstorms, rain, floods or strong winds, Météo-France said in its morning bulletin.

An "early and intense heatwave episode is underway over a large eastern part of the country", notes the public establishment, which is also expecting a "strong stormy degradation in the evening this Sunday from New Aquitaine to Ile-de-France ".
