On the morning of June 18, Songxi County, Fujian Province was hit by heavy rainfall and water accumulated in many parts of the city. The local fire and rescue department immediately dispatched to rescue and transfer the masses.
In a low-lying residential area, the deepest water accumulation was more than two meters. The houses on the first floor had flooded, and a large number of people were trapped upstairs waiting for rescue.
Fire rescue personnel jumped into the waist-deep stagnant water to help the people trapped in the stagnant water carefully explore their way and move to a safe area.
At the same time, rescuers also used rubber boats to transfer the trapped people.
In Hedong Township, Songxi County, officers and soldiers of the Songxi Squadron of the Nanping Detachment of the Fujian Provincial Armed Police Corps also carried out rescue operations immediately.
As of 16:00, the armed police officers and soldiers have successfully transferred 32 trapped people.
