On June 19, the Luojiu Water Conservancy Project, located on Beijiang River in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, was opening flood gates in an orderly manner to adjust the water level in the reservoir area.

Since June 18, the northern part of Guangxi has been hit by another round of heavy rainfall. After entering the flood season, the local torrential rain has continued, and some river sections have encountered floods once in 20 years.

In the 60-meter-high dam of the Luojiu Water Control Project, the staff are analyzing the water and rain conditions through big data, scientifically adjusting the water level in the reservoir area, and ensuring the safety of upstream and downstream residents and towns through staggered flood discharge and early peak shaving.
