  According to the videos and pictures uploaded by netizens to the Internet, the scene of the incident was similar to the tornado weather that occurred in Taiping Town, Conghua, Guangzhou on the 16th. It can be seen that a roll-shaped cloud body extends from the sky to the ground, and debris follows the roll-like shape. The ladder climbed to the sky, and at the same time, it could be seen that ground facilities such as house wires were damaged when the cloud passed through.

  Foshan Meteorological Bureau said at 10:00 on the same day that after preliminary verification by the meteorological department, at about 7:20 on June 19, a weak tornado occurred near Yayao Village, Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, with a small scale and a life history of about 1 minute. .

The weather station of Yayao Primary School (about 200 meters) closest to the tornado recorded a level 5 gust (10.5 meters per second).

  The reporter learned from the Guangdong Meteorological Bureau that the tornado that appeared in Conghua, Guangzhou on the 16th touched the ground at 19:22 on the same day and weakened and disappeared at 19:27.

The tornado passed through Taiping Town in Conghua for about 5 minutes and the path length was about 1.5 kilometers. It was initially determined that the damage degree of the tornado was equivalent to EF2 (about 50 m/s).

The tornado caused the shutdown of some local subway stations, the interruption of power supply in many villages, and the roads were full of trees and debris blown down by it.
