A 33-year-old office worker was arrested for confining a woman in her twenties living in Tokyo to a villa in Ibaraki prefecture.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details of the woman's whereabouts since the 5th of this month.

It means that he has denied the charges against the investigation.

The person arrested was Hiroyuki Sampei (33), an office worker in Minamiashigara City, Kanagawa Prefecture.



According to investigators, it is suspected that a woman in her twenties living in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo, was confined to a villa in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture on the 6th of this month.



After the woman left her home on the morning of the 5th of this month, she went missing, and on the 8th of this month she was told by her family that "her daughter hasn't returned and can't be contacted." It means that there was a consultation with the police station.



The woman is still undiscovered, and the Metropolitan Police Department is searching for her whereabouts and investigating her details.



In response to her investigation, she has denied the charges.
