Two Korean-registered office workers living in Yokohama City have documented that a North Korean IT engineer living in China was involved in the development of a Japanese smartphone application in the name of another person and illegally sent the reward. In the case of being sent, the Yokohama District Prosecutor's Office dismissed the two.

A 57-year-old male office worker from South Korea living in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, and a 75-year-old unemployed woman from Korea living in Kita-ku, Tokyo are a North Korean IT engineer living in China developing a Japanese smartphone app. Last month, I was sent a document on suspicion of violating the Banking Law, alleging that I illegally sent about 1.7 million yen in compensation related to such things and helped it.

According to police investigation, IT engineers used the name of a company employee to register for a Japanese service that introduces engineers to companies and undertake the development of apps.

The Yokohama District Prosecutor's Office has dismissed these two persons on the 17th.
