Tom Hanks yells at some of his fans for causing his wife to trip

American actor Tom Hanks was seen shouting angrily at some fans who gathered around him as he and his wife, Rita Wilson, left a restaurant in New York, for causing her to stumble.

As they were leaving a restaurant, the day before yesterday, and walking towards a waiting car, several fans approached and surrounded them and asked to take selfies with them.

Hanks was seen shouting "get away" to a group of fans after they tripped up his wife.

Video footage of the incident, which included vulgar language, was uploaded to YouTube and other social media platforms.

In the video, a security guard is seen paving the way for Hanks and Wilson to walk into the crowd as they leave the restaurant.

Some waiting fans were spotted trying to take selfies with Hanks.

But when Wilson stumbled, as a result of being accidentally pushed by some fans, she turned around and said firmly to a fan, "Stop what you're doing."

Hanks turned to face the group of fans, raised his hands in the air, and shouted, "This is my wife, back off."

He looked at the group angrily, before adding, "You're knocking my wife to the ground."

Then they left the place in a car that was waiting for them.

Some fans immediately apologized, and some can be heard saying, "Sorry about that, Tom."
