In addition, we have decided to appoint Yoshikazu Ochiai, Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office, as the prosecutor of the Tokyo Higher Prosecutor's Office, who will succeed Mr. Kai.

Mr. Ochiai is 62 years old.

He has been the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office since July after working as a prosecutor of the Saitama District Public Prosecutors Office and a criminal director of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office.



In addition, we have decided to appoint Mr. Hideaki Yamagami, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Takamatsu High Public Prosecutors Office, as the Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office to succeed Mr. Ochiai.

Mr. Yamagami is 61 years old.

He has been the chief prosecutor of the Takamatsu High Public Prosecutors Office since July last year after working as the director of the Public Security Department of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office and the prosecutor of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office.



Then, we decided to appoint Tsuyoshi Unemoto, the prosecutor of the Osaka District Public Prosecutors Office, as the chief prosecutor of the Takamatsu High Public Prosecutors Office, who succeeded Mr. Yamagami.

Mr. Uemoto is 61 years old.

After working as a deputy prosecutor of the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office and a deputy prosecutor of the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office, he has been a prosecutor of the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office since April last year.



In addition, with the retirement of Attorney General Ryoichi Nakahara of the Fukuoka High Public Prosecutor's Office, we have decided to appoint Attorney General Yasuhiro Tanabe of the Sapporo High Public Prosecutor's Office as the new Prosecutor General of the Fukuoka High Public Prosecutor's Office.

Mr. Tanabe is 61 years old.

He has been the Deputy Prosecutor of the Osaka High Public Prosecutors Office and the Prosecutor of the Osaka District Public Prosecutors Office, and has been the Chief Prosecutor of the Sapporo High Public Prosecutors Office since April last year.



In addition, we have decided to appoint Mr. Taishi Koyama, the prosecutor of the Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office, as the chief prosecutor of the Sapporo High Public Prosecutors Office, who will succeed Mr. Tanabe.

Mr. Koyama is 61 years old.

He has been the Inspector General of the Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office since July last year after working as the Inspector General of the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office and the Director of the Public Security Department.



These appointments will be announced on the 24th of this month.
