Stéphane Plaza is once again the favorite host of the French, according to the 2022 edition of
TV Magazine
's annual survey of the 50 favorite personalities of the French.
The real estate agent and host of M6 had dethroned Michel Cymes in 2019. He has kept his first place every year since.
In the 2022 ranking, Stéphane Plaza is ahead of Jean-Luc Reichmann (2nd) and Nagui (3rd).
Except among those over 50, an age category that places Jean-Luc Reichmann in the lead.

A top 10 dominated by M6 personalities
On the facilitator side, the first woman in the ranking comes in fifth place.
And she is none other than the best friend and former roommate of the big winner: it is Karine Le Marchand.
The host of
Love is in the meadow
won the title of favorite female TV personality of the French from Elise Lucet (12th), who still remains the first journalist in the ranking.
Note that half of the first ten places in the ranking are occupied by personalities from the M6 channel.
In addition to Stéphane Plaza (1st) and Karine Le Marchand (5th), the French respondents voted for Cyril Lignac (4th), Philippe Etchebest (5th) and Julien Courbet (7th tied with Nikos Aliagas).
