Chinanews reporter Cai Minjie
Unpacking, observing appearance, weighing, tasting taste, registering information... For more than two years, this has been almost the daily work of "post-95" Xie Yongmin.
In the eyes of outsiders, she is a "tester" who has endless new snacks every day, but in her view, this job is not easy at all, "This job requires a large amount of knowledge and requires Keep learning every day.”
Xie Yongmin, who liked to eat since childhood, chose to major in food quality and safety in college. After graduation, she went to the community e-commerce platform to do quality control and data analysis work. At that time, her work content and time were relatively regular, but as a young man, Xie Yongmin's pursuit doesn't stop there.
Out of curiosity about the live broadcast industry, she chose to go to live broadcast e-commerce to be responsible for the quality control of food.
"The identification volume of community e-commerce and live broadcast platforms is different. The live broadcast platform has a fast update speed. There are many types of food received, and quality control is difficult. The most important thing is that live broadcast e-commerce has higher requirements for reviewing the content of selling points. Xie Yongmin said that this requires quality controllers to quickly master a lot of relevant laws and regulations. "When I first came, learning was the craziest."
After arriving at the company at 8 o'clock every day, Xie Yongmin will first check the live broadcast operation table of the day, and then review the live broadcast "selling points" of food-related products on the day.
Before the live broadcast, she has to review the compliance and legality of the product and complete the product sensory test.

Xie Yongmin took out a random peach out of the box and weighed it. After observing for mildew and crushing, she dropped the peach juice on the glucometer and waited for the data to show.
"The sweetness of peaches is generally between 10 and 12 degrees. If they meet the standard, you can try them to see if there is any peculiar smell." Xie Yongmin said that due to the special characteristics of agricultural products, it is necessary to arrange a special person to go to the delivery site for sampling inspection. Requires suppliers to provide third-party reports for detection of pesticide residues.
Xie Yongmin handles about 1,200 to 1,600 food products each month.
Testing more than 10,000 pieces of food a year has allowed her and her team to accumulate rich experience.
"For example, for nuts, if you feel that the oil is heavy in the mouth, it means that the raw materials have been stored for too long, or the oil used is not fresh." Xie Yongmin said that he had tried a product that claimed to be beef before. It was found that it was not real beef. "The structure of the beef is relatively loose and the smell is very light. After feedback to the colleague in charge of investment promotion, the colleague said that this product will no longer be listed on the shelves."
For Xie Yongmin, he usually comes into contact with fruits, cakes and dried fruits. In addition, there are meat products such as sausages and pork heads.
When she encounters delicious food, she will recommend it to her friends through live broadcasts on social platforms. "My live broadcast rooms are all my friends. I usually start live broadcasts and share some evaluation results with them."
Like everyone else, Xie Yongmin also has his own eating hobbies.
"Everyone has the habit of being picky eaters, but as a professional, I must treat it with a professional attitude." In order to ensure good health and not worry about her family, she makes time every day to exercise and cook for herself. Take it back to the company to eat.
"I have tried a maximum of 162 items in one day. It was detected early in the morning and it was already 1 o'clock the next day." Xie Yongmin said that sometimes he would bring home the food that needs to be cooked for further evaluation.
"When I first came in, I would think: 'Wow, I feel so happy to have so much to eat'. Now I have been working for a long time, and I feel tired of eating." Xie Yongmin said with a smile, but the nature of work is like this. I feel more of a responsibility.
At present, after each live broadcast, she needs to summarize the sales and sample sealing data, and she also needs to receive training on a daily basis, update standards and relevant regulations at any time, and pay attention to food safety issues.
According to reports, Xie Yongmin's Xinxuan Group mainly controls product quality from nodes including qualification review, factory review, sample evaluation, and selling point card review.
Among them, sample evaluation is related to product specification compliance and product quality. The group has set up two core laboratories, namely reliability laboratory and beauty testing laboratory, and purchased dozens of test equipment for various products to ensure Routine inspection items can be carried out quickly and efficiently.
At present, live broadcasts are hot, but the good and bad anchors are mixed, and the incidents of "overturning" of the anchors with goods have also caused many consumers to complain.
In this regard, Xie Yongmin suggested that consumers should listen to the description of the anchor, and finally confirm the product-related information, and save the shopping screenshots to facilitate future appeals.
In addition, don't buy "three noes" products online. "It's better to be safe at the entrance." Xie Yongmin said.
