Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 16th that it was confirmed that 732 new people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
It has fallen below the same day of the previous week for 24 consecutive days.
The breakdown is 201 in Fukuoka City, 88 in Kitakyushu City, and 54 in Kurume City.
There were no announcements of those who died.
Meanwhile, one person who was announced as infected on the 15th was withdrawn.
A total of 437,918 people have been confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
