Fake websites disguised as official websites of local governments and central ministries nationwide have been confirmed one after another, and the Cabinet Cyber Security Center is calling attention.

Of these, the "fake site" on the official website of Ehime Prefecture was confirmed on the 13th of this week.

Depending on the prefecture, a fake site will be a hit when you search for "Ehime Prefectural Government Official Homepage" with a specific search engine, and the URL is different from the real one, but there is almost no difference in the design.

Also in Nagano City, a fake site that resembles the official homepage has been confirmed, and since the 1st of this month, multiple pieces of information have been received from citizens.

In addition, fake sites of central ministries such as the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Defense, and the Consumer Affairs Agency have been confirmed one after another from last week to this week, and each ministry is calling attention.

According to the National Cyber Security Center, clicking a link on a fake site may lead you to a malicious site that steals personal information, so you can easily access the site or link to it. We are calling attention not to click.
