A cardiologist reveals the secret of the increase in clots among young people in Jordan

Consultant Cardiovascular Diseases, Dr. Raed Al-Awaisha, attributed the increasing incidence of heart attacks among young people in Jordan to several reasons, including the low level of income and psychological stress.

Psychological pressures came on top of Awaisha's priorities, in his interview with "Khabarni" today, Wednesday, as one of the biggest causes of strokes in young people, according to a local study he reviewed himself.

The same study, which divided the target group, i.e. young people, into 3 levels according to per capita income (low, medium, high), concluded that people with low incomes are more likely to have strokes.

The educational level, according to Al-Awaisha, played a major role in the final results, as it was found that those with a high educational level have a lower chance of injury, because they have more health awareness, according to the study, which found the possibility of strokes in general at the age of 10 years less.

Al-Awaisha added that the high rates of smoking among children and young people are also among the causes of heart attacks, which are usually fatal for young age groups, in addition to the different nature of life in general, especially with regard to the appetite for unhealthy food.

Al-Awaysha concluded his statement to "Khabarni" by saying: "All these reasons for the increase in clots are not based on expectations or fantasies, but are related to the scientific study that we talked about."
