Their villas were auctioned off under increased security and in the presence of rapper Bushido and his former business partner.

After an appointment of around one hour at the district court in Potsdam, court clerk Silke Tischbein awarded the contract on Wednesday: the only bidder was awarded 7,401,500 euros.

It is a son of Bushido's former partner, a Berlin clan chief.

The sum of the 21-year-old corresponded to the minimum sum that had to be offered at the first appointment for the foreclosure sale.

The property in Kleinmachnow south of Berlin is valued twice as high according to the so-called market value, which the court had named, and is more than 14.8 million.

Bushido and his former partner followed the events in silence.

The villa ensemble and the land with a total area of more than 16,600 square meters belonged to Bushido, whose real name is Anis Ferchichi, and his ex-partner.

While this – clan boss Arafat Abou-Chaker – lives in one of the villas, the musician Bushido never moved in there.

After the separation of the business relationship, Bushido had applied for the foreclosure to dissolve the owner company.

After the auction, half of the proceeds go to the former business partners.

If no objection is lodged within the next 14 days, houses and land remain in the clan's possession, along with the debts that encumber the property.

The dispute between the former business partners has also been a subject of criminal proceedings at the Berlin Regional Court since 2020 - with Bushido as a joint plaintiff and witness.

Arafat Abou-Chaker and three brothers of the clan chief are accused.

The charges are deprivation of liberty, attempted aggravated extortion, coercion, dangerous bodily harm, insult and infidelity.

According to Bushido, his longtime friend and business partner and his brothers are said to have locked him in an office on January 18, 2018, insulted him, threatened and injured him.

The background is said to have been that the clan chief did not accept that Bushido had dissolved the business relationship.

Numerous witnesses have already been interviewed about the relationship between the former business partners.

Rapper Kay One should now also be questioned on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old and Bushido had initially celebrated joint successes, followed by a year-long dispute.

One day was set aside for interviewing Kay One.
