Faced with these temperatures, Météo-France forecasters have just triggered yellow heat wave vigilance in twelve departments of the South-West and the Rhône Valley.
Haute-Garonne, Gironde, Gers, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes, Hautes-Pyrénées, Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Tarn, Aveyron, Drôme and Ardèche are concerned.
State services ask to be particularly attentive to isolated relatives, especially the elderly and fragile.
And to deploy the means that make it possible to reduce the risks to their health by keeping them in cooled places.
