A group of projects and innovations, successfully implemented by the innovator and entrepreneur, Saif Al Hammadi, dedicating a distinguished experience that translated its vocabulary through his first participation in the “Think Science” competition, which revealed his clear talent and ability to excel in this field, which later pushed him to specialize in the field of engineering. Then, he broke into the field of entrepreneurship, and established a company specialized with Emirati expertise and talents, in his desire to spread the culture of innovation on a large scale in the country, and to excel among the ambitious youth of the country.

At the beginning of his dialogue with "Emirates Today", Al Hammadi revealed the story of his old attachment to electronic engineering, which dates back to childhood, as his father, who was working in the same field, sought to develop his talent and develop his spirit of passion and knowledge, adding:

The first incentive

On the reasons that led him to think of establishing a specialized and pioneering company in various fields of engineering, the young Emirati confirmed that his participation since 2016 in the “Think Science” competition and achieving first places for three consecutive years, was the most important incentive behind the idea of establishing a pioneering company in the fields of drones. And robotics engineering and 3D printing, explaining: “During my high school period, I was devoted to discovering and knowing the field of drones. After that, I rushed to present my first project in the field of drones specialized in discovering mine areas.

Then, in the following year, I joined this project with a second project for a drone to protect sensitive areas from hostile attacks. My third experience in the field of innovation was a participation in the third year with a project (diver robot) specialized in the field of underwater welding.”

And about the step of entrepreneurship that he took early, in cooperation with a young team at “Massar”, the company that Al Hammadi founded in 2019, to be the most suitable creativity tent for a selected team of Emirati engineers and distinguished local expertise in the fields of mechanics and electricity, supported by the efforts of a group of students practicing their studies. The Academy, noting the successes achieved to date for the pioneering Masar projects and for its team members.

He said: "Beginning in 2020, we decided to specialize in the field of 3D printing and design, and we are currently receiving dozens of design requests, whether for university students or government and private agencies, which we implement with new technologies that we like to be pioneers in, and have a different imprint as an emerging and promising market."

On future steps and dreams of leadership in the field, Al Hammadi indicated the company’s intention to specialize in the future in the field of “robots” and in the manufacture of basic parts for drones, considering that “the most prominent feature of (Masar), the emerging Emirati company, is its ability today to Providing complete prototypes in the field of 3D printing, which need a mechanical and electrical department for the initial design, and then printing for the new technology, up to the assembly stage.”

The participation of the Emirati innovator, Saif Al Hammadi, does not seem to be confined to the limits of the “Think Science” competition, as it included other wide participations in fields related to his field of specialization in the electronic and electrical fields, referring in this context to the participation of “Massar” in GITEX Dubai 2021, which followed Participation in the Dubai Airshow in the same year.

He also participated in the jury membership in the innovators competition, within the activities of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, to present and evaluate the innovations of school students in order to achieve better practical results.

Free training

Saif Al Hammadi said: "The Emirati company (Massar), which falls under the licensing tent of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai, continues to benefit from the support of the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, which is interested in youth projects and permanently embraces projects of small companies, which is reflected in the experience of (Massar)," The young company, and then its commitment to support the category of students and young innovators, by allocating fixed training seasons for university students.”

He added: "We are happy with this step, in which we sought to attract a class of students. This summer, we have 13 male and female students from universities inside and outside the UAE. We seek, free of charge, to train them on the assets and techniques of 3D printing, and help them in the step of installing the projects they are working on, through Courses ranged between two and four months, according to specializations.

Emirati Innovator:

"My third experience in the field of innovation was a (diver robot) project specialized in the field of underwater welding."

“We implement 3D printing with new technologies, which we like to be pioneers in, and have a different footprint as an emerging and promising market.”
