It has been over six months since the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office reviewed the case.

In November of last year, the prosecution dismissed the prosecution of a case in which Kim Gun-mo was accused of being sexually assaulted by a woman A by Kim Gun-mo in August 2016 at an entertainment establishment after six months of investigation, stating that "A's statement is not credible."

In December of last year, right after the disposition of Kim Gun-mo's non-prosecution, woman A said on the Garosero Research Institute broadcast, "It's absurd. Shouldn't it be wrong whether you are a woman in a bar or not?" and said that she would appeal.

Regarding the dismissal of the appeal, Ko Eun-seok, a lawyer at Seopyeong, who served as Kim Gun-mo's legal representative, said in an interview with SBS Entertainment News reporter, "It can only be seen as a natural result."

Earlier, in November 2019, Kim Gun-mo and pianist Jang Mo registered their marriage, but she soon broke up.

From December of the same year, right after the news of their marriage was announced, the YouTube Garosero Research Institute continued to raise suspicions of Kim Gun-mo's sexual assault. It was reported that it was unable to do so and that it reached bankruptcy.

According to her entourage, Kim Gun-mo is resting with her family to recover her health.
