In the north of France, the LAM, Museum of modern art of the metropolis of Lille welcomes the new exhibition of Annette Messager.

Through different techniques, she explores the multiple facets of her universe.

Skeletons and skulls alongside stuffed animals or small animals.
Annette Messager deploys a world full of duality.
A universe close to childhood where terror and malice mingle.
The visual artist has been knitting this little universe of her own for 50 years.
We knew her above all as a sculptor, poet of the material, we rediscovered her this time also as a designer.
Like the followers of Oulipo, she has made a physical constraint, an artistic force.
Annette Messager is currently exhibiting in the north of France at Lam, the Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Art Brut of the metropolis of Lille.
The exhibition is called "
As if
", it is to be visited until August 21, 2022.
Annette Messager
is the guest of VMDN.
