It's a small revolution for bikers.

On July 1st, the regulations on motorcycle helmets will change: the European standard 22.05, currently in force, will give way to 22.06.

Concretely, this means that the tests on the helmets will be reinforced, to make them more secure.

Don't panic: you won't necessarily have to change your equipment this summer.

Helmets approved to the old standard will simply be banned from sale from January 1, 2024.

So, good news?

For the safety of two-wheeler users, whose mortality fell less quickly than the average in 2021 according to the National Interministerial Observatory for Road Safety, it looks like it.

For their portfolio, on the other hand, the question arises: the reinforcement of the tests could well lead to an increase in the price of the helmets, in the months and years to come.

Motorcyclists and users of two-wheelers, are you satisfied with the change in regulations on helmets?

Do you plan to change your helmet, or even your equipment?

Do you fear an increase in hardware prices in the coming months?

Do you think we need to go even further for the safety of two-wheeler users?

Do you think, on the contrary, that we are doing too much?

You can testify by filling out the form below.

Your testimonials will be used to write an article.

Thanks in advance.
