Five years after the emergence of the #Metoo movement, which denounces sexual violence and encourages victims to speak out, many initiatives have emerged.

Among these, the French association MeTooAnimation aims to warn about sexual violence that takes place in the context of summer camps or summer camps.

A call for reform and prevention

Anissa, who attended summer camps until she was 17 and then became a facilitator herself, created MeTooAnimation after receiving a moving testimony: "A young girl wrote to me to tell me that one of her friends, who had participated in a summer camp in which I was a facilitator, had been raped by one of my former colleagues.

“It literally broke my heart, remembers the young woman, because I felt responsible for not having seen what was happening.

Since then, his association “does prevention, acts in colleges and schools and calls for the reform of BAFA training”.

Anissa also launched a petition "to challenge the government and public services, to suggest reforms and the establishment of sexual violence referents in each leisure center".
