His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received yesterday at the residence of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Muhammad Al Kaabi, and the delegation of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism headed by the Department's Chairman, Muhammad Khalifa Al Mubarak.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness welcomed the audience in the house, which includes the contents and holdings of His Highness, related to the history of Sharjah and the Arab Gulf, in addition to a set of achievements related to His Highness, including certificates, shields, awards, necklaces and other achievements, discoveries, documents and manuscripts.

The meeting discussed the history of the United Arab Emirates and its various achievements in all cultural, historical and social fields, and the importance of documenting these achievements through studies, museums, exhibitions and cultural activities.

The meeting also included talk about cultural partnerships between all departments and bodies concerned with culture, and the importance of strengthening them for the benefit of Arab and Islamic culture, and contributing to enriching them with research and scientific studies.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah accompanied the delegation to the corridors of the house of Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi, where the delegation got acquainted with its most valuable holdings of documents, paintings, photos and films documenting the history of the Arab Gulf and its many achievements and discoveries, in addition to the halls of honors and souvenirs received by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah from various heads of state.
