The old penthouse where Johnny Depp and Amber Heard lived during their brief marriage is back on the market.

Or at least in part.

Indeed, the property located at the top of the Eastern Columbia Building, a very posh building in Los Angeles, consisted of five interconnected penthouses and the star of

Pirates of the Caribbean

had sold the whole thing for 12.78 million dollars in 2016 following of his divorce.

The lot has since been subdivided and it's one of those luxury apartments currently on the market as revealed by Page Six.

The future owners will have to spend the modest sum of 1,175,000 dollars for this property of 165 square meters offering a single bedroom and two bathrooms.

A bittersweet victory

Last week, Johnny Depp won the defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard.

Jurors assembled by the Virginia state court where the hearings were held found the

Aquaman

star guilty of defaming her ex-husband by accusing him, without naming him, of domestic violence in a gallery published in 2018.

On arrival, Amber Heard will have to pay 10.35 million dollars to Johnny Depp, while the latter was ordered to pay 2 million dollars to his ex-wife for having also defamed her.

“The jury gave me my life back,” Johnny Depp said in a statement posted on Instagram after the verdict was delivered.

However, this court decision has seriously damaged the #MeToo movement, which is concerned about the consequences for victims of domestic violence.
