Welcome to a novel of adventures and learning that looks like a new fantastic saga!

In this imaginary world, children dream of riding the Unicorns and becoming Riders.

Each year, there is an Examination which makes it possible to designate those who will have the right to leave the Continent and go to the Island in order to hatch a Unicorn, and then to begin the apprenticeship which will allow each to achieve this goal.

The previous year, Kenna, Skandar's big sister, failed this Exam, and she still has a very bitter taste.

All the hopes of the family rest on his little brother who therefore has a lot of pressure on his shoulders;

however, he is anything but a confident boy.

His family doesn't have a lot of money, his mother died a few years ago without him really knowing under what circumstances.

And at school, he is alone, he has no friends, he was even harassed a bit.

However, he will become the hero of a new saga.

Skandar and the Flight of the Unicorn,

by AF Steadman, was published in France by Hachette-Romans in a translation by Alice Delarbre.

The translation on set was provided by Fabienne Gondrand.
