In Aubervilliers, Épinay-sur-Seine, L'Ile-Saint-Denis, La Courneuve, Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Stains and Villetaneuse, the amount of rent has been regulated since June 1, 2021.

An average of 118 euros extra per month

In total, 60% of the ads are compliant, compared to 69% in Paris, another territory scrutinized in this survey.

Ads that do not comply with the regulations display an average price of 118 euros more expensive than what is provided for by law.

If only furnished rentals are taken into consideration, the compliance rate is only 44% in the territory of Plaine Commune.

For unfurnished rentals, this rate rises to 68%.

Small surfaces are the most affected by this non-compliance: only 46% of studios are in compliance.
