The drought alert was triggered on Thursday by the prefecture in the Haute-Savoie department.

All sectors are concerned, with the exception of the upstream Arve, less affected, and which remains on drought alert.

Since May 20, “very little precipitation has fallen and the stocks of snow to melt are exhausted.

(…) Last week's rainfall benefited the vegetation but did not make it possible to sustainably raise the level of the rivers”, indicates the site of the prefecture.

#Drought As of today, the department of #HauteSavoie is placed on alert, with the exception of the upstream Arve, a less affected sector, which is kept vigilant.

Water is precious, save it!
