The TV profile Ewonne Winblad has died

Ewonne Winblad began her journalistic career at Swedish Radio in 1962, and later worked for many years at Aftonbladet.

At SVT, Winblad worked in several roles, including as a reporter and newscaster.

In her latter role, she appeared in the first Report broadcast after the assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme.

She has also been head of both Rapport and Swedish Radio P1.

Ewonne Winblad was married to SVT journalist Lennart Winblad, who died earlier this year.
